I wouldn't suggest visiting this beach during peak season, like in the middle of July. The horizon is crowded with about 30 boats, and the water quality isn't great. It's not ideal for snorkeling or diving, but there are some treasure spots with shells at a depth of 3-4 meters.

This bay in Rovinj is absolutely stunning and happens to be a great spot for a swim. It's worth noting that entry to the beach is free for the public. I had my first swim here and I hope to have my last swim here as well.
