If you're heading out to the Wall of Tears on foot or by bike, this beach is a great spot to stop for some photos of the iguanas lounging around. There are shaded benches available, but be aware that there isn't much beach space and the water can get pretty high at times. It was deserted when we visited, but I'm not sure if that's typical or not. Most of the stops on the way to the Wall of Tears were similarly quiet. I highly recommend renting a bike as it's a fantastic way to get around. We opted for a tandem bike, which was a lot of fun, but we did have to walk it for a short distance when we encountered a few slight inclines on the way out. If this would bother you, consider renting separate bikes with chunky wheels to navigate the sandy spots. However, if you've never tried a tandem bike before, I say go for it! It wasn't too difficult and we only had to walk for a short distance. Just make sure to bring plenty of water with you.
