Lerissos Beach

This beach boasts a lovely expanse of sand, with fine pebbles lining the shore and extending about 10 to 15 meters into the water. Beyond that, the sand becomes increasingly fine. The water is quite deep, with a depth of around 1.70 meters just 5 meters from the shore, making it unsuitable for non-swimmers. However, for those who are confident in the water, it offers a refreshing and invigorating swim. The cost for an umbrella and two sunbeds is typically around 8 to 10 EUR per day. Visitors can avail of the showers and changing cabins located on the beach, as well as toilets located at the nearby bars. The stunning hues of the water can be seen in the photos posted online.

The beach is an absolute paradise, and the pictures don't even do it justice! I have been bringing my little ones here for four consecutive years, and it never ceases to amaze us with its beauty. The crystal-clear waters and the soft sand make for a perfect day of relaxation and fun in the sun. It's truly a magical place where we can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and make memories that will last a lifetime.

It's impossible not to be enamored by this exquisite beach! Even if you're not in the mood for a dip in the water, you can always take a leisurely walk along the shoreline and unwind.

I enjoyed my time at the beach, although the water was not to my liking as it was too cloudy for my preference. In comparison to Ammouliani, the water on this side was much more opaque. Nonetheless, I still had a pleasant experience overall.

Ierissos is a serene and picturesque destination that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Despite being a small town, it warmly welcomes tourists and boasts a verdant and pristine environment. With a variety of taverns, fish taverns, and restaurants, visitors can indulge in authentic Greek cuisine. For souvenirs, the Greek Art House is a must-visit spot. While the gyro may not be to everyone's liking, taste is subjective. The sea can be quite deep, so parents with young children should stick to the shallow areas. Surprisingly, the water isn't salty at all. The beach is comprised of small rocks instead of traditional sand, which is actually a plus as they don't cling to your skin. Although Ierissos may seem remote, it is conveniently located near Masoutis and Lidl supermarkets, as well as several stunning beaches. For a comfortable stay, Clair Studios comes highly recommended.
