Be warned, the images displayed are of Lefkada on the Ionian Sea, which is not the same as this Lefkada. The reality of this place is a complete letdown. The journey to the beach is a treacherous one, involving a lengthy drive down winding roads. Once you finally arrive, you'll find that there's nothing particularly noteworthy about the beach. My advice? Don't bother making the trip, it's not worth it.

During our tour of the Ionian Sea we visited this wonderful place - Lefkada beach... The water there is an extraordinary color, impossible to describe, turquoise with milk maybe... It is a paradise, the mountains are almost white, and the sea is amazingly beautiful... Do not pass by, come and see, I am sure you will not regret it!

I'll tell you right away that we were looking for Lefkada beach for a crazy long time and we drove almost all around Lefkada. But it was worth it. Yes, perhaps there is a lack of infrastructure (especially the toilets are tense), but even that has its own charm. Romantic place, I think I've never seen. Turquoise water, white rocks, crazy beautiful.
