Clear Water Bay has a lovely small beach that isn't too crowded, and it has all the necessary facilities. It's about a 30-minute bus ride from TKO, making it a great spot for a weekend getaway. However, be prepared for a bit of a climb up some lengthy stairs.

I absolutely loved this beach during my trip to Hong Kong. It's definitely my favorite one! The sand is really fine and the water is calm, making it perfect for swimming. There's a small store where you can buy or rent beach equipment like sun umbrellas, beach mats, water, and even ice cream. Despite the number of people swimming and sunbathing, it doesn't feel too crowded. If you take a short hike from the first beach to the second, you'll be rewarded with some stunning panoramas. The beach is also really easy to get to by bus. Overall, it's just perfect!

On my first visit to this beach on October 6, 2022, I embarked on a leisurely stroll from Second Beach. To my delight, the first beach was relatively empty, providing ample space to enjoy the serene surroundings. As I dipped my toes in the water, I was pleasantly surprised by the crystal-clear quality of the sea. Despite the waves being stronger than anticipated, I couldn't resist taking a refreshing swim towards the two floating platforms. Throughout my aquatic adventure, I felt secure knowing that the vigilant lifeguard was keeping a watchful eye on me. Overall, my experience at this beach was nothing short of exhilarating, and I can't wait to visit again soon.
