The beach is stunning, usually quiet and well-maintained. However, the abundance of flies can make it challenging to enjoy for more than thirty minutes.

Lovely spot to visit in the Mornington area. We were there from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM during high tide, so swimming wasn't safe due to strong currents. I especially enjoyed the small pools on the beach where you can relax without worrying about being pulled out to sea. There were lots of seaweeds, possibly "Hormosira banksii," clinging to the rocks in the ocean, but they are harmless. There are parking and toilet facilities available. The beach is clean and free of plastic, so please remember to take your rubbish with you to help preserve its natural beauty 💙.

This beach is beautiful and perfect for photo shoots! There is parking available and it's just a ten-minute walk to the beach.

This beach on the Mornington Peninsula is definitely one of the best. It has everything you could want - beautiful sand, great surf, and rock pools for the kids to enjoy when the tide is out. Plus, it's easily accessible from the Koonya Beach Car park.

Lovely beach with a stunning sunset view. The sound of the waves crashing is so peaceful. I wouldn't recommend swimming here though, it seems a bit risky. It was much quieter than the other side of the peninsula, but the crowd did gather to watch the amazing sunset.
