Ballyhillin has a pebble beach that is slightly elevated. It can be tricky to locate, so it's best to ask a local for specific directions. The turnoff is on the right as you're driving uphill towards Banba's Crown. Keep going until you reach the end and don't worry about the no parking signs.

Lovely beach with stunning smooth stones. You can park at the top of the trail and walk 350 meters north to reach the beach. There is no parking right by the beach. This beach holds geological importance as it has risen in stages since the glaciers melted, which is evident when looking towards the farmer's shed in the west, hence its name The Raised Beach.

This beach is definitely my favorite. The water has an amazing color, it's quiet, and there are plenty of beautiful pebbles in various colors. It's worth the drive - just park on the side of the road and enjoy!

If you're in the area, this beach is definitely worth a visit. It's easily accessible with parking available towards the beginning of the road. Just take a short walk down the road, cross the (rickety) stile, and you'll be there. It's hard to resist leaving without collecting a few beautiful pebbles!

This beach is a hidden treasure. It's a beautiful pebble beach with clear water. If you enjoy tranquility and the sight of local farmers' cows on the beach, then this is the perfect spot for you.
