The Cannitello beach is the highlight of the area, and it's worth the journey across Vulcano to get there. You'll be rewarded with stunning views of the Aeolian Islands and the Sicilian coast. The water is crystal clear, but the black sand gives it a unique effect. It's a great spot for a swim.

The journey to get there may be lengthy, but it's worth it. The beach is quite small, but the lighthouse is a sight to behold. Unfortunately, it's not open to visitors as the base is in a state of disrepair and not safe to enter.

A trip to the beach is a must, especially with the lighthouse and Punta d'asino beach nearby. The beach itself isn't anything extraordinary, but it's worth stopping by Pina's trattoria, which is right on the shore.
