Although we didn't have the opportunity to lodge at Anse Chastanet, we were fortunate enough to stop by for a dip and some snorkeling during our boat excursion. The beach, which is formed from volcanic activity, is breathtakingly stunning, and the water is crystal clear and tranquil. Our visit was made even more delightful by the abundance of fish we spotted.

4 Frustrating

Contrary to previous posts, there are ZERO private beaches in st lucia and the hotels are not permitted to restrict non hotel guest from utilizing any section of the beach. They will certainly restrict usage of hotel beach loungers and other related equipment.

I absolutely adored the resort, from the stunning beach to the mesmerizing snorkeling experience. The food was delicious and everything was just perfect. The accommodation was incredibly luxurious and comfortable, and we were fortunate enough to have breathtaking views of the majestic pitons. The only minor complaint we had was that it was not possible to walk out of the resort as it was a lengthy 2-mile trail through the dense jungle, necessitating a taxi to go anywhere.

Although the 2 km long road leading to the beach may be considered terrible and requires driving at a slow pace, the destination is certainly worth the effort. Some individuals even choose to walk rather than drive. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a warm welcome from the resort staff. The beach itself has a luxurious feel, yet visitors are not required to rent or purchase anything. The pristine condition of the sand is likely due to the resort's careful maintenance. Snorkeling enthusiasts will be delighted to know that the reef is incredibly diverse and located in close proximity to the shore. This is, without a doubt, the best snorkeling spot in St Lucia. With a bit of luck, visitors may even spot pelicans fishing nearby. For those seeking a more secluded beach experience, heading north to Anse Mamin is recommended.
