This beach near Cala en Bosch was a great spot for a family vacation, but it could have used some more entertainment options.

If you're looking for a more local experience, this beach is probably not the best choice. But if you're into water sports like jet skiing and parasailing, it's a great spot, as it's clean and well-maintained.

This beach was quite nice, with crystal clear waters ideal for snorkeling. However, it was a bit of a letdown when it came to the price of renting two sunbeds and an umbrella for the day. €20 seemed extremely expensive compared to other places we have visited recently. Last year in Crete we paid €8 for basic sunbeds and €10 for more luxurious ones with cushions - and that also included use of a toilet and shower in the cafe. This beach didn't appear to offer public toilets, but there was a communal shower at the entrance/exit. Despite the cost, we still had a pleasant day, although it might be a better idea to buy an umbrella and beach mats from one of the shops on the way there.

This town was fantastic - beautiful and pristine, with an amazing beach and great lodgings. We only just returned yesterday, but if we could, we'd go back tomorrow! Highly recommend it for families and anyone looking for a relaxed, civilized getaway.

Playa de Cala en Bosch may be a sight to behold with its clear blue waters, but the hordes of people and the hotels encircling it take away from the magic of this special place. It's worth a fleeting visit, but don't expect to be alone.
