Playa del Canuelo is one of the most stunning natural beaches in Europe. It is not equipped with the usual amenities like chiringuitos, toilets and showers, nor is there a lifeguard service or wood bridges. To get to the beach you have to walk approximately 30 minutes, half of which is on a road in the sun and the other half is through a shady pine forest. The sand is a beautiful golden colour, and the ocean floor is mostly sand, with a few large rocks visible at low tide. There is also an old bunker that has been almost entirely covered by sand. The surrounding hills and the pine forest provide some shelter from strong winds, making it possible to swim even on windy days. The water is usually emerald and crystal clear, but can become cloudy with low tide and strong winds. Phone reception is poor, and you may even get a signal from Morocco. This beach is kept clean thanks to its difficult access, which means that the people who visit it are usually

A hidden gem - secluded and unassuming, but with crystal clear waters. If you're a fan of beaches, it's definitely worth a visit - you can even take a short stroll up and down a hill to see the lighthouse!

Playa de Canuelo is a true slice of paradise - the crystal clear water, the white sand that never ends, and the fresh air make it a dream destination. It's hard to get to, with a 30+ minute trek from Bolonia, but it's worth the effort. It's mainly deserted, with no beach bars, no music, and few people even bringing children. It's more of a nudist beach, but the vibe is super relaxed. If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, this is it!
