The beach offers showers and is often windy, but it's usually not crowded. It's even possible to surf there, which I really enjoy.

Playa De Timijiraque is a serene ocean beach with no crowds and only the soothing sound of wind and sea waves. Its location ensures sunny skies and fantastic weather, unlike other beaches on El Hierro. While the wind may be moderate, caution is advised when swimming in Bahia de Timijiraque due to occasional backward waves. The beach offers facilities such as beach showers, beach umbrellas, lifebuoys, a barbecue/picnic area, a play area for kids, portable toilets, and a mini gym area. Water shoes are recommended for the rocky beach. Across the street, there is a nice bar/restaurant, and free parking is available all day. During my September 2019 holiday, the seawater in Bahia de Timijiraque was pleasantly warm. I highly recommend a few days of relaxation at Playa De Timijiraque for all holidaymakers.

This beach boasts beautiful black sand and is conveniently located near the port, only a short 15 minute drive from Valverde. The waves are suitable for surfing and there is a restaurant nearby as well as freshwater showers.
