This beach near La Verga looks like a real diamond in the rough. Despite the fact that it's full of rocks and sand taken by the wind, it's a paradise for those who know how to appreciate the beauty of nature. A must-see for those who want to experience the wild side of the Canary Islands!

Staying at the Marina Elite Hotel was the only way to get to Anfi Beach without having to walk through the highway. During the day, it was an enjoyable and interesting journey (like a virgin beach, not ideal for sunbathing but I enjoyed running through it in the morning). However, it was absolutely terrifying at night as it was pitch black and it was hard to know where to go. There was no light at all in the area, so it was best to take a mobile phone torch and have someone accompany you as the ground was rocky. The worst part was the two short tunnels, one with colourful climbing holds which was cool during the day, and the other next to the stairs towards Balito, which seemed to be occupied by homeless people and was guarded by a barking dog. If you weren't staying at the Marina Elite Hotel, there were lots of stairs to climb back up. If you had a room card, you could take the lift all the way down to

This place is not the ideal spot for sunbathers, but it does have some captivating rock formations in the ocean that are worth a look.

The beach is filled with huge rocks, making it difficult to access the water. Snorkeling is a great activity here, as there are plenty of fish and crabs. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for children or the elderly, as the entrance is slippery and treacherous.
