I am absolutely enamored with this stunning coastal gem nestled in Florianópolis. The scenery is breathtaking, with charming eateries offering delectable seafood cuisine and a serene atmosphere that is perfect for introspection and leisurely strolls. But the real magic happens during sunset - it is an experience that cannot be missed. This beach is truly a hidden treasure that promises to captivate and rejuvenate your soul.

Nestled in the heart of Ilhabela, Praia do Itaguaçu is a stunning beach that stretches out from Mirante do Morro da Cruz and Pier do Perequê. This beach's name, derived from the Tupi language, translates to "big stone," likely referring to either the ancient stone at the viewpoint or the towering Pico do Baepi, accessible via a trail starting from the beach. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of a kiosk on the sand and several restaurants in the area, as well as tour agencies and a bike path that runs along the beach. A small square with a lawn and playground is also located in front of the beach, providing an excellent spot for children's entertainment. Praia do Itaguaçu is easily accessible, just 3.5 km from the northbound ferry and 3 km from Vila. It is situated between the beaches of Perequê and Itaquanduba, and ample parking spaces are available

5 Tolerable

Ah, the Coqueiros neighborhood in Florianópolis. A picturesque spot indeed, with a beach that some might call beautiful. There are plenty of eateries and watering holes lining the coast, perfect for those who enjoy overpriced food and drinks with a side of ocean view. And if you're feeling particularly ambitious, you can take a stroll along the beach - just watch out for the throngs of tourists and locals alike. But hey, at least it's a "great" place to walk, right?
