Tolvana Beach State Park, situated in Cannon Beach, is a stunning park that boasts of Haystack Rock, which is home to Puffins during the summer months. Additionally, the area is dotted with various excellent restaurants.

The beach grounds are well-maintained. The bathroom is regularly cleaned, and the trash barrels are replaced with new ones when they are full. The beach has new steps, and there is plenty of green grass to sit out on. Mo's restaurant is located nearby and serves good food. Visitors can enjoy the view of the ocean and purchase gifts. It's a must-visit spot outside of Cannon Beach town. Additionally, the beach has golden fine sand.

This is the ideal spot if you're seeking a magnificent beach to relax on and stroll to Haystack Rock. The beach is vast and adorned with pristine, ivory sand. Even on a stunning, sun-kissed Sunday afternoon with the parking area teeming with visitors, the beach doesn't feel congested. We secured a parking space without delay, thanks to the constant flow of people. The descent to the beach is via a brief flight of stairs, approximately 15 steps. Additionally, there is a wheelchair ramp, allowing you to bring a wagon or stroller directly down to the beach. The restrooms are conveniently located near the beach and are immaculate and well-kept. If you walk along the beach, Haystack Rock is just one mile north of the park.

This beach is an amazing place to relax and appreciate the beautiful sunrise and sunset. During my visit in July 2022, I noticed a friendly brown domesticated rabbit hanging around the restroom area. It didn't seem to be bothered by people and might benefit from finding a loving home. 🌅🐇

My son, daughter-in-law, and I had a lovely time strolling along the beach. My daughter-in-law even took a moment to explore the shallow waters and spot some starfish. I was particularly excited to visit this beach since a scene from the movie Goonies was filmed here. As a Texan, it felt pretty cool to be able to build a fire right on the beach. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we even stopped by Mo's, a great restaurant right by the sea.
