Agios Ioannis - all beaches

The city is a beautiful destination with crystal-clear waters.

The beach is mainly made up of rocks and has a black sand appearance. The view is stunning, with crystal clear and clean water. It's an ideal place to swim, especially after finishing the Samaria Gorge hike. There are plenty of patio lounge chairs and umbrellas nearby, as well as drink options available on the beach. Additionally, there are restaurants within walking distance of the beach.

The beach near Sfakia is truly magnificent. The waters are crystal clear and have a remarkable depth. Even though we visited in July, the beach was not crowded at all, and we had no trouble finding free parking.
