Latest reviews on Kidiyuru's beaches

Malpe Beach
8 Kareem Ali

To begin with, the parking lot was well-maintained and had plenty of space, although there is a charge for parking. The park itself was tidy and had lush greenery, as well as some art installations that added interest to the area. The view from the beach was truly stunning, offering a panoramic vista of the Arabian Sea and St. Mary's Island, which can even be accessed from the beach. The sea walk was pleasant and visually pleasing, although it didn't offer anything particularly unique. While the beach itself was spacious, it wasn't well-lit at night and therefore wasn't very useful after dark. The only real attraction for children was a small funfair.

Delta Beach Backwater
10 Lena Kip

This so-called awesome beach may seem picturesque with its river islands and boat rides, but don't be fooled by its superficial charm. The only time worth visiting is either at the crack of dawn or during sunset, when the sun's rays can distract from the lackluster scenery. And let's not forget about the thrilling mangrove swamps that offer a leisurely ride - because who doesn't want to spend their vacation surrounded by murky, stagnant water? Overall, this beach may be scenic, but don't expect anything more than a mediocre tourist trap.

Mattu Beach
8 Zara

This beach is incredibly clean and not too crowded, making it the perfect spot for families looking for a more peaceful experience in Udupi. The beach itself is well-maintained and pleasant. However, it is a bit of a trek from the city center and there aren't many dining options nearby.

Hoode Beach
10 Naya Kavita

This is one of my favorite beaches, as it's not usually crowded, allowing for a peaceful swim. However, it's important to note that there have been incidents of drowning, so it's crucial to prioritize safety while enjoying the water.

Pithrody Udyavar Beach
10 Naya Kavita

It is an absolute must to experience the beauty of this beach at least once in your lifetime. Our visit in the early hours of the morning left us in awe of the breathtaking scenery. The beach itself is stunning and the view of the sunrise was simply magnificent. It left us speechless and in complete amazement.

Padukere Beach
10 Lila Morgan

This pristine beach has a tranquil atmosphere and a sparse crowd, making it the perfect spot for those seeking a peaceful retreat. While there may not be an abundance of activities to partake in, the stunning scenery and serene ambiance make for a rejuvenating experience. In comparison to the bustling Malpe beach, this hidden gem offers a secluded getaway for those looking to unwind and soak up the sun. If you're in search of a serene beach escape, this is the idyllic destination for you.
