One of the few safe swimming spots along the lake. Entry costs €2 (free after 18:00). Parking is €1.50 per hour or €5 per day, also free after 18:00 if you display a "disc'orario". There's a free car park 100m west along the road and a supermarket with semi-free parking 100m east. Amenities include a kids' playground, 5-a-side football pitch, beach volleyball area, basketball court, toilets and showers, a pier, and various eateries. The area is lush with greenery. And, of course, you can swim in the lake!
The beach offers a pleasant setting with a beautiful view of the lake. However, the pool and sunbeds are poorly cleaned and maintained. The bar service is disorganized and fails to meet the demands of the large number of customers. Additionally, the prices are excessive and the staff is unfriendly and inattentive to any needs.
The water is pristine and the beach is conveniently located with nearby parking. We arrived in the late afternoon and were pleased to find that the beach wasn't too crowded.
Why would anyone choose to come here, given that there are plenty of nicer places around, especially considering how crowded it gets on a Saturday in July?
We tried some antipasti (cheese, meat), but they didn't quite meet the quality standards you would expect in Italy; they lacked freshness. The pizzas were decent, but nothing particularly outstanding. The service was alright, although due to the restaurant being crowded, we missed that personal touch.
