We highly recommend this beach! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the place is pet-friendly and great. We're definitely planning on coming back soon! Our dog had a wonderful time on the boat, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was great too!
This small beach on Lake Maggiore is conveniently situated. The water temperature is pleasant, though there is an abundance of algae. It would be even better if there was more sand to accommodate more people.
The Suna beach is a fantastic spot that offers free access and is well-maintained. Additionally, there is a bar located just 50 meters away that serves delicious pizza directly on the beach. Despite being busy at times, the atmosphere remains enjoyable and reminiscent of being right by the sea. It's definitely worth a visit - don't miss out on the opportunity to experience it for yourself! 😎🤙
The campsite at Lago Maggiore is absolutely perfect! Although it is small, the camping spots are spacious enough. I highly suggest reserving a waterfront site, as it offers a stunning view of the lake and mountains. The only drawback is that our particular spot had no grass at all. However, other areas seemed to be in better condition.
The small pebble beach located near Stresa's city center is a great spot to visit, especially if you're staying in the area. It's conveniently within walking distance, making it easily accessible. There are two beach bars/restaurants nearby, although we didn't have the chance to try them out. The water is crystal clear, and while it may not be as pristine as a sandy beach in the Caribbean, it's still a lovely place to take a dip. Overall, we had a pleasant experience swimming and enjoying the beach.
