Latest reviews on Lagoal's beaches

Praia de Sao Joao
5 Victor Manuel

Incredibly dirty, everything around the bars. In the bush after cutting down trees and shrubs to increase parking, the dry remains are scattered, if there is a fire, everything burns. Parking is very expensive.

Carcavelos beach

Undoubtedly, this is one of Portugal's finest beaches that never fails to impress with its stunning sunset hues, and it's perfect for surfing and other water activities. Lifeguards are present year-round, but the only downside is the overcrowding during July and August. Apart from that, it's an excellent location!

Dragao Vermelho

This beach is simply spectacular, darling. The aquamarine water is positively divine and the expanse of sand is positively delightful. I implore you to make your way to this paradise. We lounged until the sun set and it was pure bliss. I cannot wait to return to this utopia.

Praia de Alges

This beach in Lisbon is one of the nicest, cleanest, most serene, photogenic, and beautiful spots you'll find. It's just a 5-minute walk from Alges train station. There's a fantastic Mexican fine dining restaurant right on the beach. Additionally, there's a great path for jogging and cycling. I prefer coming here for a peaceful time instead of going to crowded places like Lisbon center or Cascais (though they are also good).

Santo Amaro de Oeiras

This stunning beach is a must-visit destination, offering a plethora of amenities such as a playground, cozy cafes, and a soft sandy shoreline perfect for lounging. Although it can get a bit crowded on weekends, it's all part of the beach experience and shouldn't deter you from enjoying this natural oasis.
