Klemskerke - all beaches

The beach is really nice, and the dunes provide a great spot to sit as they offer protection from the wind.

We were not allowed to swim, as the beach was quite crowded. However, it was well-maintained with plenty of guards and police officers ensuring safety. Additionally, there was a dedicated rescue team keeping a watchful eye on beachgoers. The beach was conveniently surrounded by a variety of shops, a bazaar, and numerous restaurants.

This beach is truly enchanting and the city surrounding it is simply lovely. As you stroll along the shore, you'll come across a grand yachts club showcasing an array of stunning boats. Two lighthouses, one modern and one old, adorn the coastline, adding to the picturesque scenery. The beach is open to the public, allowing you to bring your own umbrella or rent one for your convenience. You'll also find an abundance of restaurants serving up delicious seafood dishes, perfect for satisfying your appetite after a day of soaking up the sun.

Undoubtedly the finest beach in Belgium, this stunning location boasts crystal-clear waters, pristine white sand, and a bustling shopping district just a stone's throw away. What's more, it's conveniently linked to the longest tram route in the world, making access a breeze. On the balmy days we visited, the water was just the right temperature for some fun in the sun. However, be warned - this beach is a popular spot, so it's important to keep a close eye on your little ones and ensure they're easily identifiable with name tags. To make the most of your visit, be sure to pack all the essentials, including swimsuits, tents, and sand toys.
