The place is not very satisfactory as the toilets are not well-maintained and the beach is littered with rubbish, mostly due to tourists who throw their trash everywhere. However, parking is free and if you plan on spending time here, it's recommended to bring your own food.
The sandy shorelines of Desaru are a sight to behold, with crystal clear waters and pristine stretches of sand. Unfortunately, during our visit, the beach was closed, but the friendly guard on duty suggested we head over to Pantai Batu Layar instead. While the beach was certainly beautiful, we were disappointed to find that there were no public restrooms available.
