This beach is undeniably stunning, with crystal-clear water that's perfect for a refreshing dip. The lack of waves makes it a great spot for a leisurely swim or some relaxing sunbathing. However, don't expect to find any convenient kiosks or snack stands here - you'll need to come prepared with your own provisions.
Angra dos Reis' mainland lacks the sight of a picturesque blue/green shore. However, the Brava beach is a splendid and secure location with crystal clear waters and a non-steep shore. The waves are mild and gentle, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Nonetheless, it's essential to arrive before 9 am as the entrance gate controls the number of visitors. Failing to do so may result in being denied entry.
Oh joy, another beach. The sand was as soft as a baby's bottom and the water was so clear you could see all the way to the bottom where the trash and seaweed lay. The scenery was nothing special, just the same old palm trees and seagulls. And let's not forget the stunning sunsets that everyone and their mother has already Instagrammed. It's a perfect place to relax and do absolutely nothing, just like every other beach in the world.
I had high hopes for a stunning and enjoyable beach experience, thanks to glowing reviews. However, reality hit hard with a pungent stench, rusted metal remnants littering the sand (and I couldn't discern if the water was contaminated based on the odor), grimy sand, and a complete lack of amenities. Needless to say, this is a destination I won't be revisiting.
