This beach is great! The water isn't too deep close to shore, making it a great spot for kids to swim. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.

The beach has gray sand, and although the beach chairs are still rented, they have been cleared away. I can say that this beach is worth visiting for its unique gray sand and the availability of beach chairs for rent.

The parking lot charges only €2 for an entire day, making it a great value for visitors to this beach.

Two days in Grömitz and five more in Heiligenhafen were the perfect recipe for a truly relaxing vacation. With a bit of luck on our side, we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and soak up the sun in a fantastic apartment. The end of March provided us with almost windless days, making our walks and beach lounging all the more enjoyable. Our furry friend was also thrilled to join us on the beach, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that there were no restrictions in place until the end of March. We explored every inch of the beach, not just the designated dog area. We can't wait for our next visit!
