This beach is incredibly long and offers great opportunities for walking, running, cycling, and kite surfing when the wind is blowing. The bay is quite shallow and the water is crystal clear, making it an ideal spot for swimming. There are designated areas with lifeguards for added safety. It's worth noting that the beach can get quite narrow during high tide, so it's best to plan your visit accordingly and aim for low tide.
This beach is located conveniently near De Kelders and Gansbaai and is truly amazing.
I really enjoyed this beach, but be aware that there are quite a few blue bottles around. It's a perfect spot for swimming and bodyboarding, and it's also safe for children to swim. During the busiest times of the year, there are lifeguards on duty as well.
We had an incredible family getaway at The Arniston Spa Hotel that words can't do justice to. We made unforgettable memories and the views from our room were truly enchanting. The buffet breakfast was a delightful indulgence, complete with champagne and an unparalleled view. Without a doubt, we will be coming back.
This beach is far from ordinary and perfect for a leisurely stroll or a refreshing recharge. However, it's important to note that there are no barbecue facilities available, so it's solely a beach destination without any opportunities for socializing. The water can be quite chilly, and there are plenty of rocks scattered about. Despite these small drawbacks, the scenery is simply stunning and I strongly recommend visiting during sunset as it is a truly unforgettable experience. I've included some photos I took during my visit - enjoy!
