Latest reviews on San Miguel de Cabo de Gata's beaches

Playa de Cabo de Gata
10 Azure Rhythm

Fantastic small beach for snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming. The rocks can be a bit overwhelming, but overall it's an incredible spot.

Monsul Beach

That place is an absolute gem! Getting there can be a bit tricky as it is a dirt road, but it is totally worth it. absolutely stunning and I had a wonderful time there. Highly recommend!

Cala de la Media Luna

This spot was far from impressive. It was nothing special compared to other beaches I've been to. It didn't live up to the hype.

Cala Raja

Cala Raja is a gorgeous, relaxing spot to spend the day. The journey in can be a bit tricky, as it's not clearly marked, but once you arrive, it's worth it. The beach has golden sand and big crashing waves, and there's plenty of space to relax. It wasn't too crowded when I was there, just a couple of other groups, which made it all the more peaceful. There aren't any amenities close by, so you'll need to bring everything with you. I spent a couple of hours there and then continued exploring the rugged coastline - it's a great area to explore.

Retamar Beach
8 Srta. Salomé

Easily accessible for those with mobility issues, and has toilets, showers, and a variety of beachside eateries. Parking can be tricky during the summer months, however.

Cala Arena

I wasn't particularly impressed with the beach. The windy days are best avoided since swimming is not an option and the water is full of stones. On the plus side, it's free to enter.
