Lapaman beach is the best in the area, though all the beaches here are great. Agrelo beach is small and tranquil, and it has two beach bars.
This location is quite small, and the waters are clean and clear - a popular spot for recreational boats to moor. Unfortunately, when the tide is high, there is barely any room left.
Visiting the Banda del Río beach has become a great way to spend a day out, as it has seen a lot of improvements in recent years. It has all the amenities you'd expect, including plenty of parking, beach bars, playgrounds, and more. Plus, it's conveniently located right in the center of town!
This medium-sized urban beach at the entrance to Moaña is a great spot for a day at the beach. It is clean and well-maintained, and has a park and grove area that provides plenty of shaded areas to rest and eat. It is also a great spot for shellfishing, but don't worry, the beach is not muddy! At low tide, you can walk out quite far, and at high tide the water is of a normal depth. The waves are not frequent, and there is a lifeguard service as well as a shower with a footbath. Plus, there is a beach bar in the tree area at the entrance, with great views of the city of Vigo. Best of all, the beach is easily accessible!
In summer, the beach bar isn't open, but it's still a great place to hang out. If you like jumping into the sea from a height, I recommend going to the pier. Just be careful of the stones! Don't try to ride on any of the boats, as they are private.
