Very rundown, not many ships to see. Car park £1.50 per hour. Toilets didn't work, require a credit card to swipe 20p but the ladies were permanently engaged, only the gents worked. Wouldn't bother, except one cafe does brilliant crab sandwiches.
This beach is great for taking your dog for a walk. The beach bar was a nice addition, although I'm not sure about their hours of operation. They also serve food, so it's definitely worth checking out.
This stunning beach is conveniently located and requires only a short 200m walk on level ground to reach. The crystal-clear water and immaculate sand make for a picturesque setting, and visitors can enjoy a refreshing swim or simply soak up the sun. Please note that dogs are only permitted on the beach during the winter months, from November to March. It's worth noting that there are no restroom or other amenities available, so be sure to plan accordingly.
This picturesque cove is a true gem, offering a haven for swimmers with its crystal-clear waters and safe conditions. Although the beach can get rather crowded during the height of summer, the water remains relatively tranquil, leaving ample space for those looking to take a dip. The surrounding area is a nature lover's paradise, with breathtaking walks that lead towards the Daymark at Gribbin Head. Adding to the charm of this beach is the newly-opened beachside shop, which serves up refreshing hot and cold drinks, as well as delicious ice creams, all with the help of a friendly and welcoming staff. It's worth noting that during the summer months, dogs are prohibited from the beach between 10am and 6pm. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of a majestic cruise ship or cargo vessel as it sails past, en route to the nearby port of Fowey.
This so-called amazing beach is nothing but a mediocre stretch of sand with a view that's been hyped up beyond belief. Sure, the water may be clear, but that's hardly a rarity for any beach worth its salt. And as for the cleanliness? It's nothing more than basic maintenance that any self-respecting beach should have. Don't be fooled by the steep hike either, it's just a cheap ploy to make you think you're getting something special. Save yourself the trouble and skip this overrated spot.
This charming beach is quite pleasant with all the necessary amenities, such as restrooms and ice cream shops, conveniently located nearby. However, the only drawback is the lengthy hike from the large parking lot on the outskirts of town with all of your belongings. Additionally, as evidenced by my photos, the beach can become quite crowded, resulting in a dense population on the sand.
