Trevellas Downs - all beaches

Towan Beach is located in the northwest of Cornwall. It features a stunning sandy shore and impressive towering cliffs. The view from the cliff is absolutely breathtaking. Access to the beach is convenient, with plenty of paid parking spaces available in Newquay.

This beach is perfect for families with plenty of shops, food options, and restrooms. The car park is just a quick walk away from the beach. We stayed until sunset and it was a truly breathtaking experience.

This beach is truly remarkable. We've been here a few times, both on our own and with the grandchildren. There are some incredible caves to explore, and the kids had a blast playing in the sand dunes and the river when the tide was out. It's a bit of a trek from the car park, but it's definitely worth it.

This beach is truly enchanting! The river section is perfect for paddle boarding and children can have a delightful time splashing around in it. Additionally, there are numerous rock pools and caves to discover, and the sand dunes are perfect for sand boarding! However, it is important to note that the car parks fill up exceedingly fast and the river side of the beach can become quite congested.

This is our go-to beach! The sand is clean and well-maintained. It's perfect for exploring caves, rock pools, or taking a dip in the crystal-clear water. Plus, there are plenty of fantastic bars, restaurants, and shops nearby, and ample parking available.
