It's a stunning place to socialize. My family has owned the green house and the one adjacent to it for generations, which is where some of my great grandparents were born. The view towards San Francisco has been thoughtfully crafted to enhance the overall human experience.
This beach is renowned as the birthplace of the original burning man and offers a breathtaking view. Despite my admiration for this beach, the parking situation is quite limited. However, the real issue lies with the porta potties, which are not well-maintained and emit an unpleasant odor within 10 feet of them. It is imperative that they are cleaned on a daily basis to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors.
We absolutely adored this beach! It was stunning and not overly crowded. There were only a few other people there apart from us. The sand is not actually black, but when wet it appears to be due to its dark color. It's a 0.2 mile walk down to the beach and coming back up to the car is quite a challenge with all the steps! But I highly recommend it! It's so gorgeous! I'm only 4'11 and some of the steps were a bit difficult for me, but my husband helped me out when they were too steep. There is a vault toilet in the parking lot and someone was kind enough to put an air freshener. There aren't many parking spaces, but I noticed people parking on the side of the road. This beach is truly beautiful and should not be missed!
This breathtaking beach is the perfect spot to catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge in the early hours of the morning. The short and pleasant hike down to the shore is a great way to start your day. The best part? You'll have the entire beach to yourself before the sun rises! It's an idyllic location for taking stunning photos or simply relaxing and enjoying the sunrise. Don't miss out on this incredible experience!
Upon my initial visit to the beach, I was taken aback by the picturesque view of the bridge. Despite the beach's diminutive size, it was still a delightful sight to behold and pleasantly unpopulated.
