Latest reviews on Starnberg Lake's beaches

Munsinger Badestrand
10 MatZaw

The beach is quite welcoming, featuring trees and mostly rocky grass. The water here is cleaner compared to the neighboring lake. While there is no kiosk available, the beach does have a lifeguard and a jumping platform. I advise against parking near the beach toilets or in the immediate vicinity, as you could be fined EUR 55. It's better to park about a kilometer away at a pub. Also, avoid parking behind signs that prohibit cars and motorcycles, as you may receive a fine if someone reports it.

Ambacher Erholungsgebiet
8 Lena K.

This beach is great for families with young children and teenagers. There are plenty of parking spots available for cars. The water is perfect for swimming and other water sports, even for adults who venture further out into the lake. Additionally, there is a terrace where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy some ice cream.

Sudbad Tutzing
8 Jaxon Bennett

The burgers and salads are fantastic. It's a lovely spot to unwind by the lake.

Freibad Garatshausen
10 Lorelei Finch

This place is fantastic. It has a charmingly old-fashioned vibe and is impeccably clean and organized. There is a welcoming restaurant that offers takeout options and beverages. The well-maintained grass lawn adds to the overall appeal, and it doesn't get overly crowded, at least during our visit.

Spielplatz Tutzing Brahmspromenade
10 Dr. Amara

This lovely location features a seesaw, sandbox, climbing tower, and swing for kids, as well as benches along the path. If you keep walking down the Brahmspromenade, you'll eventually reach the Tutzinger beer garden.
