Can't come here by car, road is closed about 1km from here (no matter what google shows). Park the car when you see fence on this road, and you can enter via wooden stairs that go over the fence, and then you have 10 min walk to the beach. Its nice, secluded, but I guess there are always yachts and sailboats here (and they are very close, because bay is so small), so you won't be here completely alone. Water is not crystal clear here (I mean its clear, but not as nice and blue as on other places), and you can find trash here and there on the beach (I guess people will be people)...

One of three or four very beautiful pebble beaches in the concession hunting ground Pelegrin. The old name is the Pebble Beach of Duga bay (Long Bay in English) because that bay is really long, the longest, smaller bay on the island of Hvar. At the top of the left side of Duga bay, somewhere in the middle, there is the famous Markova, a Neanderthal cave that is neglected and very difficult to access due to the carelessness of the local authorities. In front of the bay is an islet, the only islet from Cape Pelegrin to Cape Kabala, where there are plenty of capers and once upon a time sheeps that ate salty grass because their meat was sweeter. The beach is maintained in very good condition by the care of the concessionaire and due to the impossibility of accessing that pebble beach by car without the permission of the concessionaire. Practically, for ordinary people, that beach and surrounding areas can only be reached by boat. In the Duga bay itself and on the beach itself, in calmer seasons, deer and roe deer can often be seen.

We arrived in this bay with a 12.5 meter boat to shelter from a storm. There isn't much room for safe anchoring, the bay is narrow and long, it widens at the end but the seabed is shallow, it's good for a maximum of 2 or 3 boats. We were alone and had a good time. Beautiful bay, spectacular sea and there is also a small beach with sand... and pebbles.
