Ever since our last visit to Barbados six years ago, this beach bar has been added, offering an extensive menu at the bar. I decided to order a mojito, but to my disappointment, it was made with lemons instead of the usual ingredients. This, along with its price of $11 USD, left me a bit put off. On the other hand, my husband opted for a bottled beer, which cost around $6 USD.
Although the service was satisfactory, it seemed like an area where some people simply lounged around and even slept on the picnic table benches. While we never felt uneasy about it, we did feel uncomfortable due to the amount of marijuana smoking taking place, especially since we had our two children with us. Surprisingly, despite a large sign stating that the owners did not tolerate marijuana smoking, the two employees working there seemed unfazed by it.
Nevertheless, the beach in front of the bar is one of the finest on the entire island, offering great opportunities for collecting sea glass.
