It's a great relaxed place with around 10 houses. The lagoon experiences significant tidal changes, and you can also access the beach and rocks for fishing. There's a launch site at the river mouth for both river and sea boats. It's known for good fishing, as long as there hasn't been excessive rainfall. The road leading to the beach has a lot of gravel and can be affected by heavy rains, but 2-wheel drive bakkies should be able to handle it. The closest shops and fuel station can be found in Elliotdale.

The fisherman's cottage is quite simple, but the views are absolutely breathtaking and the fishing is fantastic.

I've been coming to this beach for around 20 years or so. I'll always keep coming back to this stunning slice of paradise along the coast! It has a charmingly rustic feel, although most cottages now have electricity from eskom. Just keep in mind that a 4x4 vehicle is necessary to reach this place.
