4 Frustrating

This beach is just fabulous, if you're into crowded spots and overpriced amenities. Don't forget to pack your own snacks and drinks, unless you're willing to shell out a fortune for mediocre refreshments. Oh, and don't forget your protective gear, unless you want to fry in the scorching sun. The path to the water is a treacherous 10-minute walk, with the added bonus of burning your feet on the hot stones near the harbor. But hey, at least you can say you went to the beach, right?

4 Frustrating

A Praia do Açu é uma das melhores praias do Norte Fluminense. No Canto das Pedras tem o melhor pico de surf da região e o melhor ponto para se banhar. A Lagoa do Açu que é um parque Estadual de proteção, segue por mais de 10 Km em paralelo ao mar , com uma paisagem encantadora e Preservada, ideal para trilhas , prática de esportes, como Stand up , canoagem, caiaque , kitesurf e também observação de aves migratórias. Na Lagoa do Salgado , que é uma APA e tem relevância internacional por ser o único local na América do Sul e um dos poucos no mundo a ter ocorrência de extromatólitos, com pequenas ilhas e presença de aves migratórias. A praia está recebendo infraestrutura.
