Marieta Beach is a hidden gem that offers a unique and authentic experience. Although it may be challenging to reach, this 6km stretch of coastline is worth the effort. Nestled in the northern part of Maracanã, it is a protected area that shares borders with Salinópolis and Algodoal-Maiandeua Island. As a proud local, I can attest to the beauty of this place, which is only 12km away from my ancestral village of PENHA. Marieta Beach's rustic charm and unspoiled natural surroundings make it my favorite beach in the region. I am eager to return to this paradise as soon as possible, and I hope to share my photos and videos of the journey with others who appreciate the beauty of nature.

Regrettably, Marieta beach fails to live up to the hype. The location is not as advertised, and the beach itself is lackluster. I recommend that you steer clear of this disappointment and find a more worthwhile destination.

This beach is a true natural wonder, but let's be honest, it's not exactly a five-star resort. If you're looking for a place to relax and soak up the sun without any distractions, this is the spot for you. Just make sure you bring everything you need with you, because there's no convenience store or fancy restaurant to bail you out. But hey, who needs those things when you've got the sound of the waves and the sand between your toes? It's a bit of a DIY beach experience, but sometimes that's exactly what the soul needs.
