It's primarily a village with mostly summer houses, which are empty during the off-season. Without a car, staying here can be challenging as there are only two small shops available. The nearest larger stores like Migros or SOK are located over 2km away in Mordogan. If you're looking for fancy restaurants or shopping, you'll have to drive around 45 minutes to Urla. However, there is an easy bus connection to most places in the area.
In terms of the natural surroundings, the beach is not very large but it is adorned with trees and some cliffs, offering a beautiful scenery. It is also less crowded compared to other places. Unfortunately, like many other beaches I have visited, pollution is a problem here. There are tons of plastic bottles, bags, and various types of rubbish that people simply throw into the sea... It's quite disheartening.
