The beach is very beautiful. At 5:30 p.m., there were hardly any people and no jellyfish, making it a pleasant surprise. Is it busier in the middle of the day?
Wow, that was probably the worst service I've ever experienced in France, including Corsica. The prices are quite high, but if you're a foreigner with limited French skills, you won't feel very welcomed. And here's a small suggestion for the staff - please refrain from taking away your customer's wine glass before they have completely finished it. It really doesn't create a favorable impression for leaving a tip, feeling welcome, or returning to your establishment.
This beach is relatively small and has a secluded atmosphere that is not well-known among the general public. It boasts a stunning and vast stretch of white sand that is kept clean. Additionally, there is a fairly spacious parking area equipped with garbage bins.
This beach is truly a hidden gem that I'm tempted to keep to myself. My wife and I had a wonderful overnight stay before our flight, as it was very convenient for Bastia airport. Our room was on the ground floor, facing the sea, with a beautiful garden terrace that had direct access to the sandy beach. We could even see the Isle of Elba from our terrace. After taking a refreshing swim and shower, we decided to take a 20-minute walk to the local Pailotte for a fantastic dinner. They served amazing mojitos, and the waiter was surprisingly rude, but it didn't cost us anything extra. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace while watching the sunrise. We also had a nice chat with the owner, who shared the story of their post COVID purchase and the 6 months of renovations they undertook. It's truly impressive what this husband and wife team has accomplished. By the way, there's a garden cargo net platform that we absolutely loved, and you can see it in the photo. I highly recommend this place.
