Air Papan - all beaches

We made a brief stop at this charming fishing village to stretch our legs before embarking on a lengthy drive. The verdant ocean and refreshing chilly wind were delightful. The local market offers fresh catches of the day in the early hours, and we relished in the uncomplicated yet savory Malay cuisine at a nearby restaurant. The assam pedas was so delectable that we couldn't resist having three servings of rice! We also observed that chalets are currently under construction and will be available for occupancy by mid-2023.

The beach is stunning with crystal-clear water and offers ATV sports.

This is a great spot to unwind and take in the beautiful ocean scenery. Additionally, it's an ideal location for spotting migratory shorebirds that frequent the shore.
