This private resort community has excellent security, making it a great place to stay. Plus, it's right on the beach - what more could you ask for?

San Agustín beach

This beautiful beach offers a chance to bask in the warm sun, feel the soft sand between your toes, and observe the incredible marine life, such as sea lions, dolphins, and snails. As it is a secluded area, there are no stores or markets nearby, so it is recommended to bring your own food and drinks. Additionally, there are no public restrooms available, as this is an open-air environment. However, rest assured that the security is excellent, so you can relax and enjoy your day without any worries.

El Cochorit beach

Upon my recent arrival to "Playa el Cochorit" in Empalme, Sonora, I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this beach. Having visited numerous beaches in my lifetime, I can confidently say that this one stands out from the rest. It's the perfect spot to spend a weekend with friends or family, or even just a day of the week. One thing to note is that there is only one tree on the entire beach, which can make it a bit crowded as people tend to gather around it. However, I personally don't mind sharing my space with others and enjoy meeting new people. During my visit, my friends and I found a cozy "Palapa" near the beach and settled down on a rock. We brought along some alcoholic drinks and a bag of tots, and spent a lovely afternoon enjoying the company of others. The atmosphere was lively, with many people playing music and enjoying some cold beers. On the other side of the beach, there was a family with young children who were also enjoying the sun and sea. It was heartwarming to see people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to enjoy this beautiful place. Overall, I highly recommend "Playa el Cochorit" for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing beach experience.
