Stunning location :) The charming old town is filled with numerous attractions, wine bars featuring live music, and restaurants serving excellent food. I highly recommend taking a boat trip around the lake, where you can learn about the history of the houses situated along the shores of Lake Geneva.
We got a late start to our day, but we still managed to have a pleasant 1-hour walk along the lake. It was a bit humid, but the sun was hidden behind the clouds, which was nice. If you start your walk from the bay and head east along the water, you can cover a lot of ground. Parking is convenient across the bay, and while only residents are allowed to park close by, it's not a problem. The view is amazing!
We always have a fantastic time at this beach. It's clean and not overly crowded, and the availability of restrooms and changing rooms is a definite bonus. However, keep in mind that there is a charge for both the parking lot and the beach itself. Additionally, the staff checks coolers, so it's important not to bring any glass items.
