The water at Tofo Beach is stunningly blue, and the beach itself is not overly crowded and well-maintained. I will definitely be returning to this beach.
This beach is truly the ultimate remote paradise. However, just like any journey to paradise, reaching it is not a simple task. A 4x4 vehicle is necessary to access this hidden gem. Additionally, local fishermen sell fresh seafood on the beach every day.
The landlord completely ruined our Mozambique experience. The place was overrun with mosquitoes, there was no privacy as she would enter without warning, she took most of our cutlery after a guest visit, there was no hot water for the first 5 nights, we couldn't use our own fans, she even took our mixer after we made flapjacks. When we tried to address these issues, she took the TV remotes. Overall, a terrible experience and not recommended for a relaxing holiday. The views were nice though.
