The walk to the water's edge is pleasant, with impressive cliffs to explore. The park is simple, and the Sandy Strait with black rocks is a highlight.
This beach is fantastic, with well-maintained restrooms and a barbecue area where you can spot kangaroos roaming nearby. A brief stroll will lead you to the even more beautiful Mill Beach.
This beach is an unofficial nudist beach. My dad and I were hiking the Murramarang trail to Oaky Beach campground, which took us through Myrtle Beach. It's a great spot if you're a nudist, but it didn't really appeal to us. The waves are lovely, and the soft sand makes the beach itself pretty awesome.
I've been visiting this place for nearly 30 years, but I've stopped going because I felt cleaner before even taking a shower. They really need to address their bore water issue and improve the attitude at the front desk. A little kindness goes a long way. It's a shame because the park itself is truly beautiful.
True to its name! I visited Singing Stones Beach, which is a 20-minute walk south along the coast from Pretty Beach. The walk was pleasant, and the small cove was captivating, with the waves creating an intriguing sound as they washed over the stones. Both locations were definitely worth the trip.
