The color of the water is stunning, and there's a sandy spot where you can lay down a towel, which is usually quite empty. The water area is entirely rocky with no depth or waves. I suggest bringing crab pots to enjoy the water. However, if you have a low car, parking is limited to the road, and accessing the beach is challenging. You need to descend a steep slope and navigate some stones to reach it. I've attached photos of everything, including the stones you need to cross to get there.
The city beach is actually pretty decent - not too crowded, clean, and conveniently accessible. There's even a beach bar and shower available. Plus, if you're feeling adventurous, you can jump off the nearby rocks into the water, which is always a hit with the kids.
