Portillo - all beaches

Playa de la Franca is a great spot for a day out, with ample parking (just 4 euros!) and four great places to eat. If you're looking to relax, you can rent a pair of loungers for just 15 euros - perfect for catching some rays!

Very crowded

This location is a real paradise - an ideal spot for a perfect day at the shore. It's one of the most stunning beaches in the vicinity, with crystal clear waters and white sand. A great place to relax and soak up the sun.

Great when the tide is out, but when it's in, there's no beach to be seen. You can take a dip, but be mindful of the bay's shape and the rocks beneath the surface. I'd suggest avoiding this beach in August, since that's when the temporary car parks appear and charge 3 euros.

We visited the beach during the off-season and although it was too chilly to swim, the beautiful landscape still made it worthwhile. We took a leisurely stroll and enjoyed the scenery.
