Latest reviews on Charlton's beaches

Charlestown Beach

This location is stunning. I had hoped to witness the sunset from the bridge before the beach, but unfortunately, the clouds obstructed the view. Despite this, the beach was a sight to behold. There were many visitors with their jeeps and SUVs, and a group of people gathered around a lit fire pit while others enjoyed a picnic. Overall, this was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. I've included some pictures of the bridge where the sunset can be seen at its finest.

Eastern Point Beach

We were enamored with this beach, as it provided the perfect atmosphere for us. Its tranquility was unparalleled, making it an ideal location for our young ones to frolic without a care. Moreover, the beach was equipped with a delightful playground, ensuring that our children were thoroughly entertained. The beach was immaculate, and the breathtaking scenery added to its allure. It was the perfect spot for a memorable family outing. Kudos to this excellent beach! 🙏🏻❤️

Roger Wheeler Beach

We tried the lobster rolls at this beach and they were really delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't take a picture, but overall it's a nice beach. I believe it's around $12 per person unless you have a pass.

Conochet Club Beach

To be honest, I found this beach trip to be quite costly and not really worth it. While I don't mind supporting the maintenance of the beach, the entrance fee is $12 per person, and if you're not a resident, you'll have to pay an additional $15 for parking. The non-resident parking area is also located across the road, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have beach chairs or kids with you. However, there are plenty of free parking spots available along the sea wall and surrounding streets, although they do have time restrictions. Nevertheless, it's still a decent option if you don't plan on staying the whole day.

Esker Point Beach

There is a secluded beach located to the right of the parking lot that can be accessed through a narrow trail. It's a great spot to enjoy some tranquility and solitude.

Bonnet Shores Beach

Private and inaccessible, unfortunately. It may be better to explore other public beaches in the area.
