The parking area is quite limited and the shower and restroom facilities were not up to par. However, the beach boasted beautiful sand and we were fortunate enough to collect numerous seashells after a storm in the morning. Additionally, we had the opportunity to witness a beached man o' war jellyfish.
This beach is fantastic! It's perfect for families as there's plenty of room, and the water is excellent. Additionally, there are restrooms available, and a Pavillion with picnic tables where you can enjoy your own food. This is a huge plus as no one wants sand in their food. There's an entrance fee, but it's valid for a week, so you can come and go as you please with your pass. I'll definitely be back!
Whoever decided to plant Bermuda grass in the medians without any irrigation clearly didn't think it through, resulting in unsightly brown patches of dead dirt.
Yes, it was definitely windy and cold, but the weather was beautiful and the beach itself is stunningly white. The water is absolutely mesmerizing. There were no crowds, noise, or litter to be found. I had a fantastic time.
