I was pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful fishing village.

There are some stones, but the beach has a solid foundation.

Platja de s'Alqueria

This place is a small and charming cove, with a peaceful atmosphere. It is best to go early in the morning, around 11/12pm, as it starts to get more crowded after that. It is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown Cadaqués and has a large free parking lot right in front. Easy to access, it's a great spot and we will definitely be back.

Platja d'en Pere Fet

This place is really nice with an amazing view.

Platja Port d'Alguer

That place is far from perfect. It's located in the center of a village and is quite clean considering the location. The entry is sandy and the water is crystal clear, perfect for snorkeling. It's a great spot for families with small kids since there is no sudden drop and you can walk in for a long way. There is a small platform in the water where people can jump from, but no lifeguard or toilets, so be careful. Boats are prohibited from entering due to the markings. Everyone walking along the seafront can see you, but there's a water fountain at the square across the road. There used to be a shower, but it wasn't working when I visited in August. The beach can get quite crowded with families and there's no shade, so if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle, you should head to a smaller beach further away. All in all, it's better than the main beach, especially if you have
