Acuipe - all beaches

This so-called "beautiful" beach is situated on the island of desire in Ilhéus. The landscape is nothing short of ordinary and the inn and restaurants available are mediocre at best. To add insult to injury, you have to fork out 5 reais per person just to cross on a small ferry to get there. It's hardly worth the effort.

This sandy expanse is a veritable haven for those seeking a leisurely stroll or a bit of R&R with their kin or solo. Personally, I ventured forth to deliver a talk on the perils of anxiety and depression to the youth at a seaside retreat, and even managed to hawk a few copies of my tome while signing autographs. The sun was positively splendid, but alas, the heavens opened up without warning, as is wont to happen during the warmer months. Nonetheless, it was a jolly good time while it lasted.
