The beach is nicely maintained and it offers a dining room, which is quite crucial as they serve delicious and filling food. The beach is not very large and it consists of pebbles. Unfortunately, entering the sea can be quite challenging as walking on the pebbles without proper slippers can be painful. Additionally, there are large stones in the sea near the shore. However, if you are looking to relax and sunbathe, this beach is a suitable choice.
This is our sixth summer vacationing here. The beach is wild and the sea is clear. There's always a spot available for a tent. Additionally, there's a hotel and organized paid campsites. There are two stores with a good selection. For an extra fee, you can charge your phone, take a shower, or freeze drinks. The locals offer delicious baked goods and fresh seafood.
The beach offers stunning views of the sea and mountains adorned with wild boxwood and juniper. It's a great spot for a camping trip, but be warned, the terrain can be challenging, so it's best to park your car on the road and carry your belongings to the gorge on foot. Once you find a spot, sit back and relax, but please remember to take your rubbish with you. We learned this the hard way, having collected two large black bags of garbage before we could even set up our tent. Throughout our four-day stay, we made it a point to walk along the coast and pick up any litter we came across. If you plan on having a fire, bring your own wood and coal, and avoid cutting down any of the trees in the area. If you forget, don't worry, the sea often washes up dry trees and snags that can be used as fuel. While this place may not be for everyone due to its challenging terrain, the pristine sea and rocky landscape make it a truly special destination. We visited in early September and enjoyed warm, calm weather.
The water is quite murky and you need to walk carefully. Additionally, the beach is extremely dirty and litter is scattered all over the place. Unfortunately, it seems that no one bothers to clean it up. To make matters worse, there is a dead dolphin that has been there for quite some time, as evidenced by the strong odor. All things considered, I would not suggest visiting this beach.
